How long should I cook my Kentish Mayde pie?For best results, please defrost before use and put on a preheated baking tray on the middle shelf of a preheated oven. Cook at 200°C/180°C Fan/Gas Mark 5 until piping hot (product specific times are below). Cooking times may vary depending on appliance, these are guidelines only. Do not reheat once cooked. Savoury pies: Small (230g) – 25-30 minutes Medium (410g) – 25-30 minutes Family (850g) – 30-35 minutes Fruit pies (900g) – 25-30 minutes

How should I cook my Kentish Mayde suet pudding?Kentish Mayde suet puddings have already been traditionally steamed, so the easiest way to enjoy them is to reheat using a microwave. For best results, please defrost before use. Cooking times may vary depending on appliance, these are guidelines only. Do not reheat once cooked. MICROWAVE (800w) FROM CHILLED 2.5 – 3.5 minutes Defrost before use. Remove outer packaging, keep in plastic tub. Place pastry side down on a plate in the microwave. Heat at 800w for 2.5 – 3.5 minutes until steaming. Please ensure product is piping hot before consuming. Remove the plastic tub. TRADITIONALLY STEAMED FROM CHILLED 40 minutes Defrost before use. Remove outer packaging, keep in plastic tub. Place in a saucepan of simmering water and cover with lid, ensuring that the plastic pudding bowl does not come in to direct contact with the saucepan base. Heat for about 40 mins. Please ensure product is piping hot before consuming. Remove the plastic tub.

Can you freeze Kentish Mayde pies and suet puddings?Yes. Our pies and suet puddings are baked fresh and can be frozen up to one year. Many of our products are already frozen at time of purchase. For best results, please defrost the pie/suet pudding before reheating and ensure it is piping hot before serving. Do not refreeze once defrosted.

Do you offer gluten free pies?Unfortunately we are unable to produce gluten free pies on the premises due to the risk of cross contamination. However, we do offer a gluten free pie that we have sourced from another quality supplier.
